The Mask

Today was not a big day in the shop, just tedious. We got the epoxy wipe done on the gear legs as well as the induction inlet. I’m trying to determine how many coats of epoxy is necessary to accomplish the contouring and filling pin holes. So I only did 2 coats of epoxy. We will see what we get once they are sanded.

Greg was here as well and he worked on prepping for the next priming session. So we washed and rinsed all the parts and then masked. We “skirted” the airplane as well to protect the interior.

Tomorrow is prime time! I am hoping that the videos I’ve watched and advice I have gotten will make the spraying go better. If it does, tomorrow could be the last prime on the fuselage.
