Alright, so it has been….
- nearly a full 8 months
- 3 serial numbers
- many cold lonely nights
- and an insane number of curse words
and all the while we have been waiting to say this.
DING! Baffles are done. That is right, the baffles both aluminum pieces and baffle seal is done. I am sufficiently convinced that the baffles are airworthy and will direct the necessary cooling air to the engine. The only remaining thing to do is seal off minor leaks with RTV.
Hip hip, hooray.
