Went back to work yesterday, and wouldn’t you know it, a long Minneapolis overnight. So don’t mind if I do… Made a test flight today.
We are still working on breaking the engine in, so more running around at 75% power. While I was doing that, I decided to see how the autopilot works. When it’s smooth it is working great. It’s a bit jerky when it’s bumpy. Looks like I may need to turn down the gain. We will see how that’s works. I also was able to check the VOR, and that seems to be working.
Doesn’t seem like a lot for an entire test flight, but we will get more done when the engine is broken in.
