Return to Chapter 0 – The project as we picked it up from the previous builder.
Project as acquired. Lets get this build started!
Project as acquired. Pre-fab cowls.
Project as acquired. The fuselage was in the ‘canoe’ stage, wing panels were done, and center section spar was fabricated though not mounted.
Project as acquired. Note the pre-fab Task Research strakes that were included with the purchase.
Project as acquired. The original GU canard was fabricated and included in the purchase, though it is not pictured here, and we will not be using it.
Project as acquired. Vrooooooooom!
Project as acquired. You know, you are going to have to get out of the fuselage to get any work done!

Hi Joe, Just found your page. Do you know who fabricated your cowlings? Do you have a weight for top and bottom (individual) cowlings?
Hi Kevin. No I don’t know who made those cowls. I ended up making my own. In the process, I started by trying to modify the ones you see here. As such I destroyed the top one and ended up hacking into the bottom one. I still have the bottom cowl and it is salvageable. I don’t know how heavy it is. If your interested in the bottom one to try to salvage it, let me know.
